What is RPL?
RPL is a structured process designed to evaluate and recognize the learning you've acquired through various means, allowing it to contribute to your chosen qualification. This process is fully endorsed by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF), ensuring global credibility and recognition.
Types of Prior Learning Recognized:
Formal Learning:
Learning achieved through structured programs in educational institutions, such as school, college, or university, resulting in a recognized qualification.Non-formal Learning:
Learning acquired through structured training programs outside formal education, such as workplace training, professional development courses, or workshops.Informal Learning:

How RPL Works at ADVEX:
Evidence Collection:
Learners can demonstrate their prior learning through two key methods:Portfolio Submission: Compile and present a portfolio that includes evidence such as certificates, training records, employer endorsements, or reflective accounts.
Challenge Test: Undertake a practical assessment, interview, or written test to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in a specific area.
Initial Consultation:

Your evidence will be assessed by qualified academic staff against the program or module criteria to determine the credits or exemptions applicable.Recognition and Credit:
