In July 2025 the university formalised what was already happening and appointed ADVEX as an Online and Distance Learning partner. The agreement was signed by Prof. Datuk Is. Dr. Mazrin Rohizaq Bin Che Rose, then Deputy Vice Chancellor and now Vice Chancellor and Chairman of the Senate of the university, and by Dr. Alex Bordin, Executive Director of ADVEX.
What that appointment buys a learner is unglamorous and useful: someone in the same time zone who knows the university’s systems, can chase a supervisor, and can sit with you over a research proposal in a language you are comfortable in.
