Issuing Authority: Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA), a government body in Scotland, in collaboration with ISDC.
Credit Value: 120 SCQF Credits
Duration: 9 - 12 months
Recognition of Experience and Credit Transfer: Available through the Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) system.
Further Study Opportunities, graduates can progress to:
Year 1 of a bachelor's degree in universities in the UK, Scotland, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Europe, Thailand, and other countries (as per the MOU agreements between SQA and partner institutions).
Program Overview
The International Foundation Certificate in Business (Level 6) is an academically focused foundation program designed by ISDC to bridge the gap to further studies at Levels 7 and 8 or the first year of a bachelor’s degree in business management.
This program is operated by ADVEX Singapore and ideal for:
Individuals who have not completed 12 years of basic education (equivalent to Grade 12 / M.6).
Those returning to education after a long break.
Adult learners seeking to develop business skills or improve English proficiency.
Each module is assessed using a variety of methods based on the Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) Level 6 standards. This ensures the development of practical skills alongside academic learning.
The program offers a comprehensive pathway for learners to build a strong foundation for further education and career opportunities in business.

General Qualifications
Age Requirement: 15 years or older.
Educational Requirement: Completion of compulsory education (Grade 9 / M.3).
English Proficiency:
Ability to communicate in English.
Applicants without an English proficiency test result at CEFR A2 or higher must enroll in a foundational English course.
Applicants with a lower secondary school (M.3) English grade of B (3) or higher are exempt from additional English courses.

Blended Distance Learning: Delivered via an LMS (Learning Management System) combined with live classes conducted through virtual conferencing platforms.
Competency-Based Curriculum: Focused on practical skill development, with assessments primarily based on assignments. No examinations.
Collaborative Learning: Opportunity to connect and work with peers from across Thailand and around the world through group projects.
Language Support: The program is conducted in English, with supplementary instruction available in Thai.

Year-Round Enrollment: Applications are open throughout the year.
Block Course System: Courses are delivered in rotational blocks.
