The SCQF Level 8 Advanced Diploma in Business Management (SQA) is a dual-track of independent programs approved by Thailand's Ministry of Education (หลักสูตรการจัดการชั้นสูง 480 ชั่วโมง)* and the Qualifications Scotland (QS). This SQA Advanced Diploma (SCQF level 8) equips learners with essential skills in international business, including management, human resources, economics, and administration, preparing them for employment or further studies, such as university degrees. Offered globally, the program typically takes two years to complete. For ADVEX programs, it covers Business Grade Units 1 and 2 of the SQA Advanced Diploma, earning both Thai and Scottish qualifications upon graduation (options).
The SQA Advanced Diploma in Business is designed to provide learners with opportunities to pursue business careers or progress to higher education, such as a bachelor’s degree at a university. The program, mapped to SCQF Level 8, covers essential topics in international business, including human resource management, economics, and business administration. It also enhances learners’ understanding of critical issues and practices in an ever-changing business environment. This program is operated by ADVEX Singapore.
An increasing number of colleges and universities worldwide recognize this qualification. Typically, the SQA Advanced Diploma takes approximately two years to complete; however, learners can accelerate their completion to one year or less through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) track. It can often be transferred into the final year of a bachelor's degree program (1+1 or 2 + 1) at universities in the UK, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Thailand, Europe, and many other countries under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SQA and educational institutions
*Learners enrolled in the online mode are eligible only for the SCQF Level 8 Diploma, since the Thai-approved program (หลักสูตรการจัดการชั้นสูง 480 ชั่วโมง)mandates onsite participation.

The HyFlex Learning Method is a teaching model that combines face-to-face (in-person), online synchronous, and online asynchronous learning into a single course. This gives students the flexibility to choose how they participate each week or session.
Competency-Based Accessment: Focused on practical skill development, with assessments primarily based on assignments. No examinations.
Collaborative Learning: Opportunity to connect and work with peers from across Thailand and around the world through group projects.
Language Support: The program is conducted in English, with supplementary instruction available in Thai.

Completion of a high school certificate or equivalency or
Completion of a Foundation Certificate (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent, or
Pass the ADVEX entry assessment or
BTEC, GSCSE, GED, A-Level, IB Diploma
Ability to communicate in English, CEFR B1 Level is preferred.
Candidate without proof of English Requirement may attend ADVEX's English Intensive Course)or take FREE online CEFR Test from ADVEX.
