Bachelor’s Top-Up & Credit Transfer Pathway

ADVEX offers a seamless international progression route through its Bachelor’s Top-Up and Credit Transfer pathways, enabling learners to convert their SCQF Level 8 qualifications into a full bachelor’s degree awarded by leading universities.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ADVEX Management School and Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU), learners holding an SCQF Level 8 qualification—such as the SQA Advanced Diploma or EduQual Diploma—are eligible to enter directly into the final year of the following UK degree programs:

BA (Hons) Business Management – University of Sunderland (UK)
BA (Hons) Finance & Accounting – University of Sunderland (UK)

These top-up programs are delivered at DPU’s Bangkok campus, with the academic award conferred by the University of Sunderland (UK). Graduates receive the same UK degree certificate as students studying in the United Kingdom and are also eligible to attend the official convocation ceremony in the UK.

In addition to the UK Topup pathway, learners also have the option to progress to University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) through the Micro Credential Transfer (MCT) MOU between ADVEX and UGM. Under this agreement, students may transfer their SCQF Level 8 credits into selected UGM bachelor’s degree programs through approved micro-credential mapping, enabling an accelerated and flexible progression route in Malaysia.

Together, these pathways provide students with multiple international opportunities to continue their studies, achieve globally recognized degrees, and benefit from efficient credit transfer arrangements tailored to their academic and professional goals.

BA in Business Management (Topup) - UK Degree

This onsite program is delivered at Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) and awarded by the University of Sunderland (UK). Learners holding an SCQF Level 8 Diploma (240 credits) can enter directly into the final year and complete their UK bachelor’s degree in approximately 1 year.

BA in Finance and Accounting (Topup) - UK Degree

Study onsite at Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) and earn a UK degree awarded by the University of Sunderland (UK). Holders of an SCQF Level 8 Diploma (240 credits) are eligible for final-year entry and can graduate within around 1 year through this top-up route.

Bachelor of Business Administration

"Online, Agile, Affordable option with Malaysian Degree"

The Bachelor of Business Administration (MCT) pathway is offered through the Micro Credential Transfer (MCT) collaboration between ADVEX Management School and University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM). Through detailed module learning outcome (LO) mapping, learners holding an SCQF Level 8 Diploma—including the SQA Advanced Diploma in Business Management, EduQual Diploma in Business and Marketing, or EduQual Diploma in Healthcare Management—are eligible to transfer a substantial portion of credits directly into UGM’s BBA program.

This advanced standing arrangement allows learners to fast-track their studies and complete the UGM Bachelor of Business Administration in as little as 1 to 1.5 years, depending on the volume of mapped credits and program structure. The MCT pathway provides a flexible and efficient progression route for students seeking an internationally recognized Malaysian degree with maximum credit recognition for their SCQF Level 8 achievements.
